Tourist arrivals
The number of tourist arrivals increased from 1,295,410 in the year 2023 to 1,382,177 in the year 2024.
2. Tourist arrivals by air increased from 1,275,263 in the year 2023 to 1,348,400 in the year 2024 while those arriving by sea increased from 20,147 to 33,777.
3. The performance of our usual main markets, accounted for 69.5% of total tourist arrivals in the year 2024 compared to 70.5% in the year 2023. Comparative figures for the years 2023 and 2024 are given in the table below:
